What formats and DAWs are supported?

VST3, AU, and AAX on both macOS and Windows. If your DAW supports any of those formats, you're good. We test against Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Studio One, and Reaper, but it works in anything that loads standard plugin formats.

How do I authorize my license?

Open the plugin in your DAW, enter your license key in the registration field, and click activate. You get 3 seats per license so you can run it on your studio machine, laptop, and a backup without juggling activations.

Does this work on Apple Silicon?

Yes. All current Kiive plugins run natively on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and Intel Macs. No Rosetta required.

Love compressors I do, they are some of my most favourite things.
Really liking this ADC1 Compressor/Limiter, very much so.
Sounds lovely, colourful, absolutely slamming, well, as subtle or as slamming as you like.
Look nice too.
Can’t decide my favourite between this, the ADC1 Compressor Limiter, and the XT-Comp.
Both sound great but different, both top tier devices. Great stuff.

Very quickly it became one of my must haves in drum chain. Nothing gives me that heft and weight like this and still keeping the dynamics in control. Good work Kiive.

After all, the effectiveness of the compressor is important

The yen is getting weaker and weaker in Japan, and compared to when it was around 100 yen to the dollar, it's not as easy to buy anything these days. So before I buy, I always try to test out the demo version and only buy things that I'm sure are good. Unless I really want something, I always try things out before I buy them.
This product looks and feels great, so I highly recommend it.

Free lifetime updates are also a plus.

I have owned both the TG 1 and Zener. I actually traded in the TG 1 for the Zener. I discovered quickly that they both sound different. I spoke with Wade Chandler who clarified that the Zener has different input transformers to allow the hi and low impedance inputs option. I discovered that the TG 1 input transformers give that unit a special sound. I used it alot in THD mode on full mixes. Don’t get me wrong, the Zener is great on drum bus, but the TG imparts a special sound on whatever it touches. The KIIVE model really nails that special TG vibe, but has the extened controls of the Zener. A best of both worlds really. I have been tempted to buy a TG just for that THD mode, this plugin may just allow me to keep that 5 k in my pocket and not worry about missing out any more. It’s that good an emulation. Ok, you guys got my attention and will be looking at what else you offer…

Somewhat Concerning

I enjoyed it during the trial, but after purchasing it, I encountered two bugs, one of which was genuinely concerning. The less significant bug probably has something to do with the fact that I did not purchase it during the trial window, because the settings that the UI displayed after buying somehow didn't match the actual settings of the plugin. Annoying, but you could probably get past that if it happens to you (probably won't, they hadn't heard of it before I brought it up).
The second bug was fixed, but it still makes me apprehensive about their stuff in the future (much less now, see edit below). With the auto gain, I brought the input all the way down which brought the output all the way up. I dialed the output back a touch, and then swapped to the B configuration. After going back to the A configuration, though, my volume jumped from -7.2 LUFS or something around there to +0.5LUFS. I think my "dialed back" volume was added to what the auto gain wanted it to be. If I wasn't quick about pausing playback, and if I was listening louder, that could have definitely hurt or broken something. Thankfully it didn't, and thankfully Kiive's support gave me a refund since the first bug couldn't be fixed, but either way, make sure you test extensively before buying.

edit: Co-owner Johnny worked a ton with me to make sure that I was okay and satisfied with the resolution after the fact, so I'm adding back a star. Though the bug was bad, I can tell that they're a great company. I just happened to have a really rare, unfortunate bug with this plugin. I own Tubetizer and M5133 and they both work great.
