Hear M5133 in action.
THREE GENERATIONS IN ONE EQ
When the mix is close, M5133 makes it finished.
Four variable bands give you the range for broad tonal changes and the precision for half-dB adjustments. Open up the highs, reshape your low end or bring the mids into balance.
Four variable bands
Adjust each band’s frequency, gain and Q to make broad tonal changes or more focused moves. Expanded frequency ranges on the low and mid bands give you more room to work.
Hear what your EQ is changing
Use each band’s Delta Solo to hear what you’re adding or taking away, then return to your full mix to judge the adjustment in context.
Musical high and low pass filters
Clear out unwanted lows or soften the very top of your mix. Choose a gentle 6 dB/octave slope or switch to 12 dB/octave for a steeper rolloff.
Use the filter monitor to hear the frequencies you’re removing.
Mastering EQ with saturation built in.
Leave the EQ bands flat and use M5133 as a saturation processor, or combine both in your finishing chain.
Transformer, Tape or Tube.
Choose from three saturation styles to add a gentle harmonic lift or push your mix into heavier saturation.
Set the harmonic balance.
Adjust the second and third harmonics independently, then use the dedicated Mix control to blend the saturation with your dry signal.
STEREO AND MID/SIDE
Give the center and sides their own EQ.
Use mid/side processing when the center and sides of your mix need different EQ or saturation. Link the controls for matching changes, or unlink them to work on each channel independently.
Oversampling and A/B comparison
Use up to 16× oversampling, compare settings with A/B, and keep your favorite starting points as your own custom presets.
Width and channel levels
Adjust your stereo width and channel levels from the top bar, with the linking and processing modes in the center of the interface.
“I'd finally found the mastering EQ I'd been searching for.”
