PlasmaVerb
From a clean plate to something less familiar.

PlasmaVerb can sit quietly behind your mix or turn the reverb itself into a new sound. Start with a clean plate, then bring in pitched reflections, stereo movement and metallic tails that become part of the arrangement.
Contour
From a clean plate to
haunting, metallic tails.
Contour changes the character of the reverb itself. Start at zero for a clean plate, then turn it up to feed the early reflections back into the decay, introducing a pitched quality that grows more pronounced as you push.
A small turn adds color behind the music. Higher settings bring out ringing, metallic tails that can become a new sound in your arrangement.
At zero, the early reflections stay outside the feedback loop for a clean plate sound.
As Contour rises, the early-reflection pattern becomes more audible in the decay.
Push Contour toward its maximum for pronounced pitch character and metallic tails.
Shape the space
Give the reflections
somewhere to go.
Spacing works with Contour
A little motion changes the whole space.
Spacing changes the modulation of the early reflections. With Contour above zero, you can shape the pitched pattern woven into the tail.
XCouple adjusts the width of the wet output, so you can spread the reverb around the mix while keeping the dry sound in place.
Keep the opening clear.
Delay leaves a gap before the reverb arrives, letting the front of each phrase come through. Decay determines how long the tail carries on behind it.
Use a short reflection to add depth, or stretch the decay when you want the space to linger between notes.
Reverb tone & modulation
Keep the space.
Shape what fills it.
Let the tail darken.
Damping changes the tone as the reverb decays, while the output filters trim the wet signal without changing your dry sound.
Add movement inside it.
Adjust modulation rate and depth for a gently shifting tail, or make the motion more pronounced when the effect needs to stand out.
Keep exploring.
Keep your favorite settings.
Blend with Mix, compare settings with A/B and save your own presets. Linked input and output controls help you compare changes at a similar level.

Build your Paradox
Give the reverb
something to react to.
Push Stereo Distortion into PlasmaVerb for haunting textures, or filter a long reverb return with Mod Filter to give it a repeating rhythm. The order is part of the sound.
