Best bus comp plugin

I had lots of bus comp, but this one is the only one I go for at the moment.

Great option if you do not have SSL bus compressors

I watched several reviews of this and it was hyped - the reviewers swore they'd replace all their other bus compressors with it. I was intrigued.

So in fair comparison, I tested it against the SSL Bus compressor alongside the SSL G3 bus compressor and my ears couldn't tell the difference. I'm using Genelec 8030 monitors and DT770 Pro headphones. For me it isn't worth the switch as I did not notice much difference.

I will say that it is definitely worth buying, even if you do own SSL plugins, especially with the intro price. It offers great advantages such saturation, headroom, M/S, separate L/R options, and so on. If you're looking for the extras, go for it.

XBUS

The XBUS has a lot of controls to it. I would guess that you would be able to get the kind of sound you are looking for and anticipating with these controls. I have found that XBUS sounds slightly different than a few other popular plugins of this type. I decided to buy XBUS because of how it sounds. Do your research by getting a trial of XBUS.
