Seven modules with their own reasons to stay.
Filkchannel’s preamps, EQs and compressors give you distinct ways to approach a recording, with independent module choices inside the same plugin. You can build a chain around the compression you like, choose an EQ for its particular shaping options, then find the preamp treatment that brings the combination together. Your favorite setup can become part of how you mix vocals, guitars, drums or a whole group.
Develop the character before you reach for EQ.
The two preamp modules give you saturation choices with their own responses to drive. Adjust the saturation, choose its character and use the preamp’s Mix control to bring it alongside the unprocessed audio. A more strongly colored setting can become a restrained layer in your mix, giving you room to shape the texture without making the heaviest version your only option.
Choose the EQ that fits the move.
EQ I gives you three adjustable bands, shelf options and high-pass and low-pass filters. EQ II and EQ III bring different tone-shaping layouts, including selectable presence frequencies and their own low- and high-frequency controls. Choose a module for the adjustment you want to make, whether that’s a broad tonal change or more attention to the midrange.

Two different ways to bring in compression.
COMP I gives you opto-style compression with fixed timing and an adjustable ratio, while COMP II brings a VCA-style response with attack and recovery choices. Both include a Mix control, so you can find the balance between compression and the dry signal inside the module. Try the two approaches on the same material and keep the response you want to hear in the chain.
Arrange the chain around your decisions.
Drag the modules to change their order. Start with preamp color before EQ and compression, or move an EQ ahead of the compressor when you want the tonal adjustment to influence what it receives. Filkchannel lets the same module choices become different processing chains, and its A/B comparison keeps two settings ready to audition.

How many modules are included?

Can I change the processing order?
Yes. Drag the modules to rearrange the chain.
Can I blend the preamp saturation?
Yes. The preamp Mix control blends the saturated and unprocessed audio.
What distinguishes the compressors?
COMP I provides opto-style compression with fixed timing. COMP II provides a VCA-style response with adjustable attack and recovery. Both offer parallel blending.
Does every EQ have high-pass and low-pass filters?
Those filters are part of EQ I. The other EQ modules have their own shaping options.
