What formats and DAWs are supported?

VST3, AU, and AAX on both macOS and Windows. If your DAW supports any of those formats, you're good. We test against Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Studio One, and Reaper, but it works in anything that loads standard plugin formats.

How do I authorize my license?

Open the plugin in your DAW, enter your license key in the registration field, and click activate. You get 3 seats per license so you can run it on your studio machine, laptop, and a backup without juggling activations.

Does this work on Apple Silicon?

Yes. All current Kiive plugins run natively on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and Intel Macs. No Rosetta required.

One of the BEST

Kiive says the Tube-KC1 opto is based on “one of the most coveted vocal compressors on the market.” That may be so, but to me it is simply one of the best-sounding compressors of any type in my rig. I prefer “manual” mode for attack and release, and I sometimes switch the meter between “input” and “output” to check for unity gain when my ears start to get tired.
