Build The Signal Path You Want
NFuse was built to be pulled apart and rebuilt around the mix in front of you. Saturation, EQ, and compression can all be reordered, while the stereo-width section stays at the end of the chain where it belongs.
You can also use N/F Mode Link to flip between both complete processors at once, or break the link and choose each module independently.
That gives you the speed of two finished bus chains when you want it, and the freedom to create something completely different when you don’t.
Two Saturation Circuits
The two sides of NFuse start with completely different approaches to saturation. The F side gives you Drive and Density, letting you move from richer even-order harmonics toward a cleaner, more focused response as you push the Density control.
The N side gives you its own darker and brighter color options along with a more aggressive drive mode when you want the saturation to become a bigger part of the sound.
Since the saturation module can be switched on its own, you can choose the color you want without giving up the EQ, compressor, or stereo section you prefer from the other side.
Two Different Approaches To EQ
The N side gives you a wider mastering-style range, with the low band reaching from 30–240 Hz and the high band extending from 3–24 kHz, both with enough gain range to make anything from small finishing moves to much broader tonal changes.
The F side is more focused around the areas you’re most likely to reach for across a mix, with low-frequency choices from 30–90 Hz and high-frequency control from 8–20 kHz.
Both EQs have their own feel and range, and NFuse lets you choose between them without changing everything else you’ve already built around your mix.
Choose The Compression That Fits The Mix
The N compressor gives you a smoother, more flexible way to control the mix, with 2:1 and 5:1 ratios, variable release, a 20–350 Hz sidechain filter, and a Blend control for parallel compression right inside the plugin.
The F side gives you a more traditional bus-compression workflow with ratios from 2:1 to 10:1, adjustable attack and release, makeup gain, and gain-reduction metering.
It also includes a dedicated high-frequency compression mode, giving you another way to control the top end without reaching for a separate processor.
Two Ways To Shape The Stereo Image
The N side gives you straightforward width control with a 50–800 Hz high-pass filter, so you can open the mix up while deciding how much of the low end stays anchored in the center.
The F side takes a different approach with Width and Space, letting you adjust both the stereo image and the amount of low-frequency information living in the sides.
The width stage itself uses mid/side processing and stays in stereo no matter which processing mode NFuse is running in.
16x Oversampling + Full Workflow Control
NFuse gives you direct control over the order of the saturation, EQ, and compression stages from the top bar, with the stereo-width section always remaining last in the chain.
Oversampling can be increased from Off all the way to 16x, while undo/redo, A/B comparison, preset management, and GUI scaling from 75% to 150% keep the workflow fast when you’re making small mix-bus decisions.
The N/F Mode Link can also switch all modules together when you want to move between both complete processor flavors at once.
Dual Mono, Stereo + Mid/Side Processing
NFuse can work in dual mono, stereo, or mid/side modes, with the L/M and R/S controls changing depending on the mode you’re working in.
The stereo-width stage remains in stereo regardless of the selected processing mode because it uses mid/side processing internally, giving you flexible channel control without disrupting the width section.
N-Side Dynamics + Parallel Control
The N compressor gives you 2:1 or 5:1 ratios, a sidechain high-pass filter from 20–350 Hz, adjustable release from 100 ms to 1.5 s, and 20 dB of makeup gain.
A dedicated Blend control lets you run parallel compression directly inside NFuse, while the sidechain filter keeps low frequencies from driving the compressor harder than you want.
F-Side Compression + High-Frequency Control
The F compressor offers ratios from 2:1 through 10:1, with adjustable threshold, attack, release, makeup gain, and gain-reduction metering.
Its dedicated HF mode turns the section into a high-frequency compressor with its own threshold, makeup, and frequency control, giving you another way to manage the top end without adding another processor to the chain.
